Introduction and Overview:

Acora is seeking a Skilled Stone Fabricator to join our Fabrication Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with marble, granite, quartz, and porcelain materials, transforming raw slabs into beautiful finished products.

 

This role involves cutting, shaping, polishing, and assembling stone materials for both residential and commercial projects. If you take pride in craftsmanship, precision, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace, we would love to hear from you.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC water jet, bridge saws, polishers, and other specialized equipment for stone fabrication.
  • Cut, shape, and finish stone slabs to precise dimensions and project specifications.
  • Read and interpret drawings, templates, and measurements accurately.
  • Polish and grind stone surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional-grade finish.
  • Apply epoxy, color mix, and polyurethane-based adhesives for assembly, bonding, and repairs.
  • Inspect materials throughout the fabrication process to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
  • Identify and repair any chips or defects in stone using appropriate methods.
  • Maintain tools, machines, and workstations in clean and optimal working condition.
  • Follow all health and safety practices to ensure a safe, organized work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in stone fabrication (marble, granite, quartz, or porcelain).
  • Proficiency operating CNC bridge saws (stone sawyer) and fabrication machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM templates (ESA software knowledge is an asset).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of proper stone slab handling and workplace safety procedures.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
